Apple also partnered with LG to release the Apple Home Collection of smart home devices co-designed by Apple.
Apple announced the fourth-generation Apple TV 4K with an A19 chip and Siri AI. Siri AI will be available as a beta on second-generation and newer Apple TV 4K models, and at official launch it will support English users in the United States, Australia, Canada, India, New Zealand, Singapore, South Africa, and the United Kingdom.
Bloomberg reports that Apple plans to release several Siri AI-powered smart home devices on October 13, including a home hub codenamed J490, a new HomePod mini, and an updated Apple TV. The J490 features a roughly 6-inch square touchscreen, supports tabletop and wall mounting, controls HomeKit/Matter devices, and can recognize family members.
